Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for Dyess AFB to provide engineering, construction management, and contract administration support on federal projects in Texas.

The role involves reviewing contractor performance, monitoring schedules, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7–10 years of experience in engineering or construction management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of engineering, architecture, construction management, or project management experience; OR ten (10) years of experience successfully managing construction projects.
• Experience supporting USACE/DoD/USAF or other federal programs preferred.
• Experience with MILCON/SRM projects preferred.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS/UFC/EM 385-1-1 and related regs.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans and codes.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance with construction methods and contracts.
• Document field conditions, submittals, and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Maintain awareness of contractor activities to prevent delays.
• Assist in negotiation and change-order documentation.
