Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support Dyess AFB, TX.

The role provides engineering, construction management, and contract administration for federal projects, coordinating with government personnel, contractors, and designers to meet schedule, budget, and compliance standards. Responsibilities include reviewing QA work, contractor schedules, submittals, plans, and changes while maintaining project controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction mgmt, or related field.
• 7+ years in engineering, construction mgmt, or project mgmt, or 10 years managing construction projects.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal programs preferred.
• FAR/DFARS and UFC/EM 385-1-1 knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans, specs, and code.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance and sequencing.
• Document construction features, submittals, shop drawings, and contract compliance.
• Maintain awareness of contractor activities and prevent government delays.
• Assist in negotiation/change order management documentation.
