Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer at Dyess AFB, TX to provide engineering, construction management, and contract administration support for federal construction programs.

The role involves reviewing contractor performance, monitoring schedules, ensuring QA compliance, and guiding project execution with government and contractor teams. Requires a strong background in FAR/DFARS and RMS, with experience on MILCON or SRM projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in engineering, architecture, construction management, or project management; 10 years acceptable for equivalent level.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal construction programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related regs.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, schedules, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans and codes.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance and contract compliance.
• Document principal construction features and submittals for contract conformance.
• Maintain awareness of contractor activities to prevent delays.
• Assist in negotiation/change order management and government liaison.
• Prepare briefing materials and status reports for stakeholders.
