Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support federal construction projects at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.

You will review contractor performance, monitor schedules, manage documentation, and provide technical guidance to ensure projects meet contract requirements and regulatory standards. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 7–10 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in RMS and FAR/DFARS.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related field required.
• Minimum seven to ten years in engineering, construction management, or project management.
• Experience with USACE/DoD or federal construction programs preferred.
• Strong contract administration and project controls knowledge.
• Proficiency with RMS and federal regulations (FAR/DFARS).

Aufgaben

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans and specs.
• Assess contractor schedules for method, sequencing, and compliance.
• Document submittals, shop drawings, and field conditions for contracts.
• Monitor project progress to prevent government-caused delays.
• Prepare change orders and negotiate with stakeholders as needed.
• Advise on contract administration and federal regulations for construction.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and designers.
