Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to provide engineering, construction management, and contract administration support for federal construction projects at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The role focuses on reviewing contractor performance, monitoring schedules, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and federal regulations.

The candidate will work with Government personnel, contractors, designers, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of engineering, architecture, construction management, or project management experience; 10 years acceptable.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal construction programs preferred.
• Experience with Military Construction (MILCON/SRM) preferred.
• Familiarity with federal regulations and standards (FAR/DFARS/UFC).

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans, specs, and code interpretation.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance with construction methodology, sequencing, and contract compliance.
• Manage documentation, submittals, and shop drawings for field construction conditions and contract compliance.
• Monitor contractor activities to prevent delays and coordinate Government actions.
• Assist in negotiation and change order management documents.
• Provide consultation on contract administration, construction management, and acquisition management.
• Support Government in regulatory compliance and design/schedule changes as needed.
• Coordinate with contractor and Government stakeholders for successful project execution.
