Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Marketing Cloud AE to drive Federal Civilian engagements in the Virginia area. The role entails owning the full Salesforce Marketing technology stack from lead generation to deal closure, and achieving quarterly quotas.

Based in McLean, VA, you will collaborate with account teams, evangelize marketing platform solutions, and build trusted advisor relationships with federal customers, ensuring outcomes align with Salesforce values.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-cycle enterprise software or technology sales experience.
• Experience selling Marketing technology is a plus.
• Proven track record in account management, preferably with Federal Civilian accounts (DOT and Dept of Education).

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for how Federal Civilian agencies leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions.
• Be a team player.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting.
• Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation through networking and associations.
• Meet and exceed annual quotas.
• Own the sales cycle for the Salesforce Marketing stack, including lead generation and deal closure.
• Generate opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting current Salesforce customers.
• Create and drive revenue within a specified region and named accounts.
• Collaborate with Account and Territory teams to identify target accounts.
• Empower broader Account team on Salesforce Marketing technology.
