Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud AE to be a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Federal Civilian prospects. This quota-carrying executive will drive opportunities across the full Marketing technology stack, collaborating with an Account Team and individual contributions to close deals.

You will generate opportunities, manage the sales cycle, and ensure customer success while traveling to client locations as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full cycle Enterprise software or technology sales experience.
• Experience selling Marketing technology is a plus.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required; evaluated on values & behaviors.
• Proven track record in account management, preferably Federal Civilian accounts (e.g., DOT, Dept of Education).

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert when it comes to how Federal Civilian leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions within their enterprise.
• Be a team player.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting.
• Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking, associations, etc.
• Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Own the sales cycle for the full Salesforce Marketing technology stack; lead generation, deal strategy, pricing and packaging, and deal closure assistance.
• Generate business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting in to current Salesforce customers.
• Create and drive revenue within a specified region and/or named accounts.
• Collaborate with Account and Territory team to identify target accounts.
• Empower and enable the broader Account team on Salesforce Marketing technology.
