Zusammenfassung

LAC Federal is seeking a Library Assistant to support daily library operations, information requests, circulation, document delivery, inventory management, and administrative services at a specialized federal library.

The Library Assistant will provide front-line customer service and logistical support to library users, federal personnel, and students while helping maintain efficient library and information center operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum two years of administrative or volunteer experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
• Excellent customer service and collaboration with peers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Staff the library service desk and virtual help desk.
• Respond to information requests and process document orders.
• Retrieve library materials, publications, and digital resources.
• Duplicate, package, and ship library materials and instructional resources.
• Perform receiving, mail processing, postage metering, and shipping duties.
• Maintain library inventory, supplies, equipment, and media production records.
• Organize and store publications, supplies, and library materials.
• Coordinate logistical support for conferences and training events.
• Track and report activity metrics and operational statistics.
