LAC Federal seeks an experienced Library Program Manager to lead the operations of a federal research library and Information Center serving corrections professionals, government agencies, researchers, and students. The role oversees library operations, website hosting and development, and information services with close coordination with federal representatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of project/program management in a research or federal library.
• Experience managing budgets, invoicing, and burn rate tracking.
• Experience leading and training employees with progressive discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of current library techniques, best practices, and standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the federal library and Information Center, ensuring consistent delivery of services.
• Supervise personnel and coordinate staffing and schedules.
• Oversee contract performance, quality control, and compliance with procedures.
• Manage contract budgets, financial reporting, invoicing, and expenditures tracking.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, documentation, policies, and reports.
• Oversee technical services and reference services in a research/government library environment.
• Coordinate with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative and other government staff.
• Lead employee training, performance management, and corrective actions.
