PotomacWave Consulting, Inc. is seeking an HR Support Specialist to join our team supporting a Federal client in Washington, DC.

The role provides high-level HR, recruitment, and program management support to advance division talent initiatives and sustain recruitment operations. Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment actions, preparing status briefings, liaising with hiring managers and external partners, processing incentives, and supporting internship programs while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or business-related field is required.
• Ten years of directly related HR/administrative support experience in U.S. Government intelligence/counterintelligence or similar communities is required.
• Must have strong organizational skills and excellent communication.
• Experience with word processing, project management, automated data processing, and desktop publishing tools is expected.
• Counterintelligence-scope polygraph may be required.
• Must have an active DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HR support with recruitment program management and tracking of hiring actions.
• Serve as liaison with internal and external partners to resolve bottlenecks and communicate guidance.
• Assist hiring managers through candidate review, interview scheduling, and selection phases.
• Coordinate and process Human Capital incentive requests in compliance with DOE and federal guidelines.
• Monitor end-to-end routing and approval workflow across leadership and HC.
• Maintain internal ledger for incentives, service agreements, and renewal timelines.
• Represent recruitment at fairs and events, managing logistics and candidate engagement.
• Review HR policies and provide guidance to management and employees.
