Job summary

Avolinq, LLC is seeking an HR Assistant to support federal personnel operations for a U.S. Coast Guard contract. You will review Official Personnel Folders, validate Service Computation Dates, and process Personnel Actions with expertise in USA Staffing, FedHR, EmpowHR, eOPF, NFC Mainframe and HICCUP.

You will maintain HR case files, research policies, input data for reporting, and assist with pay processing and case resolutions as part of a collaborative HR team in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• Experience with USA Staffing, FedHR, EmpowHR, eOPF, NFC Mainframe and HICCUP packages.
• Experience processing/coding Personnel Action Requests.
• Experience with HICCUP packages.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Official Personnel Folders and validate Service Computation Dates and perform calculations.
• Maintain hard and electronic HR case files and research materials on precedence and case law; coordinate submission of case materials and Personnel Actions requests.
• Research basic HR policies and procedures.
• Review and maintain records, scan documents and input data to electronic files/databases, extract data for reporting.
• Assist staff with processing transactions to update/change personnel actions.
• Provide assistance with problem resolution activities in support of personnel and pay processing.
