Job summary

SMX seeks an accomplished Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS deployment for a federal client. You will drive end‑to‑end project activities, manage budgets and timelines, and coordinate with a cross‑functional team of analysts, data engineers, and architects.

The role requires deep Federal budgeting knowledge, strong communication, and a Public Trust clearance. 100% remote with <20% travel, empowering delivery of a cutting‑edge SAC‑based planning tool.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance or related field.
10+ years leading complex IT or financial system implementations.
Experience with SAP ERP implementations and upgrades.
Experience delivering projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage full lifecycle of the CFO BAS implementation project from initiation to closure.
Liaise with federal client stakeholders, SMX teams, and vendors to align goals.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with risks and dependencies.
Guide project using SAP Analytics Cloud knowledge while overseeing SAC planning and reporting functions.
Lead cross‑functional team of analysts, data engineers, and solution architects.
Provide regular status reports on progress, risks, and budget to leadership.
