Job summary

ZenaTech seeks a Business Development Associate – Federal and Defense to identify government opportunities and engage DoD and federal customers. You will schedule demos, briefings, and events while collaborating across teams to drive growth in the federal marketplace.

The role requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives. A background in federal contracting is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in sales or federal contracting
• Experience in sales for B2B and B2G
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of DoD preferred
• Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and regulations is a plus
• US Citizenship ( or meet FAR/DFAR requirements)
• Valid security clearance (Top secret/ Secret) or ability to get one

• Identify and qualify federal opportunities.
• Conduct outreach to contracting officers.
• Schedule demos, briefings, and events.
• Attend government conferences.
• Track pipeline activity in CRM.
