Responsibilities

• Target regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery contracts.
• Position CDM Smith as the preferred design subcontractor early in the procurement cycle and negotiate exclusivity, teaming terms, and scopes of work prior to solicitation.
• Work with pursuit teams to present engineering expertise, constructability, cost validation, design-phase management, risk mitigation, and phased delivery models to General Contractor teams.
• Lead teaming strategy for Department of War and other federal opportunities by translating procurement criteria into competitive designer-led structures.
• Work with federal CSLs on maintaining a pipeline of federal opportunities, prime contractor targets, and next actions.
• Track federal agency movement toward accelerated delivery methods and align pursuit resources with prime contractor interest and capacity.
• Identify and resolve friction points between the General Contractor and architect-engineer team during design validation and cost reconciliation.
• Serve as the senior relationship and capture lead through teaming agreement execution and transition to pursuit and delivery teams.
