Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, supporting LNSSI, seeks a Contracts Manager to develop, negotiate, execute, and manage government contracts for data and services. You will advise on contractual rights and obligations and lead negotiations with internal and external customers.

The role requires strong commercial judgment, advanced negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations while ensuring compliant contracting practices. CJIS requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or equivalent legal experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience contracting, negotiating, drafting, and managing government contracts.
• Proven ability to independently negotiate and manage complex contracts.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement laws, regulations, and contracting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate contract compliance and advise internal stakeholders on rights, obligations, risks, and actions.
• Negotiate, draft, execute, and manage contracts per guidelines and approvals.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations to balance customer objectives with business priorities.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders.
• Develop negotiation strategies, communicate risks, and secure required approvals.
• Identify and document exceptional conditions to standard contracting language.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
• Drive process improvements and maintain contracting documentation.
