Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks a Contract Specialist to identify and engage contract workers, independent contractors, and small businesses delivering public record data and document acquisition services. You will negotiate terms, support procurement strategies, and manage contracts while maintaining key provider relationships.

Responsibilities include drafting and administering contracts, overseeing SLAs, and coordinating with internal teams and government entities to ensure reliable service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in vendor management, sourcing, or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and contract-drafting skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a service-provider network for public-record data services.
• Draft, administer, and manage contracts ensuring SLAs.
• Lead procurement processes including RFIs/RFPs and bid evaluations.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and address non-compliance.
• Renegotiate renewals, recertifications, and contract terminations as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and government entities.
