Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee and maintain all current agreements while negotiating and finalizing new contracts. The role requires deep expertise in federal contract management to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and optimize terms for CGS and its government clients.

You will work with business development, legal, and operations teams across the contract lifecycle, delivering cradle-to-grave support and guidance on complex actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience managing contracts and solicitations.
• Knowledge of Federal Contracting guidelines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance.
• Experience supporting Federal clients.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall contract compliance with requirements, policies, procedures, and laws.
• Lead and coordinate proposal and award activities for assigned contracts throughout the lifecycle.
• Review complex contract actions and develop plans to address risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Client Success, and HR to address contract challenges.
• Serve as SME for contracts and guide complex issues and obligations.
• Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration, including RFP analysis, proposal development, and negotiations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders through written and oral communication.
• Enter contract data accurately into systems and maintain data quality.
• Perform other contract-related duties as assigned.
