CGS Federal is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee and maintain all current government contracts and to negotiate and finalize new agreements. The role requires expertise in contract management to ensure compliance and optimize terms for both existing and upcoming contracts.

Based in Fairfax, VA, this full-time mid-level position emphasizes cradle-to-grave contract administration, collaboration with multiple teams, and adherence to federal contracting guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years managing various contract types and solicitations.
• Knowledge of Federal Contracting guidelines.
• 3+ years supporting Federal clients.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all current government contracts and agreements.
• Lead and coordinate proposals and awards across the contract lifecycle.
• Review complex contract actions and implement plans addressing risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Client Success, and HR teams on contract challenges.
• Serve as SME for contracts and ensure compliance with obligations.
• Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration for government contracts, including RFP analysis, proposal development, and contract execution.
• Communicate with contracts staff, program management, and customers to ensure data accuracy.
