Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies seeks an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Support for NMRC’s Ft. Detrick projects. The role focuses on submittal review, schedule analysis, deficiency evaluation, and regulatory compliance oversight to ensure contract specifications are met.

The position supports envelope renew and repair efforts at Ft. Detrick, requires on-site oversight of construction activities, and involves travel to project sites with flexible hours to meet client demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year Bachelor’s degree.
• Must demonstrate a minimum of five years of relevant field experience in building construction/renovation/modernization.
• Familiarity with USACE Safety Management System (CE-SOHMS).
• Descriptions of any/all relevant professional registrations/certifications, training, etc.
• Documentation of OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety training.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
• Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C)
• Certifications shall remain current throughout performance.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport for travel
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Review submittals and provide recommendations to the COR concerning acceptability.
• Review contractor RFIs/RFCs and recommend responses and solutions to the COR.
• Review contractor schedules and report findings to the COR.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to COR.
• Review project changes and advise on contract basis and entitlement steps.
• Assist in preparing change orders/modifications and claims from start to close.
• Interpret drawings and specs to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
• Maintain construction documentation and records.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and report issues and recommendations.
• Provide on-site surveillance of construction activities.
