Job summary

NIKA is seeking a Construction Quality Management (CQM) / Quality Assurance (QA) Support to provide full-time on-site oversight for the NMRC Building 8400 Envelope Renew and Repair Project at Fort Detrick, MD. You will review submittals, RFIs, RFCs, and schedules, ensuring contract compliance and safety standards.

Working under the CO/COR, you will monitor contractor performance, interpret drawings, and generate daily reports and recommendations for the COR.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction quality management and QA support on government projects.
• Ability to review submittals, RFIs/RFCs, schedules, and drawings for compliance.
• Strong on-site surveillance and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with USACE policies and contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance and identify deficiencies, delays, and construction issues.
• Review drawings, design documents, and constructability concerns for technical accuracy.
• Prepare daily reports, maintain records, and support project documentation in RMS.
• Attend weekly progress meetings with architects, engineers, and contractors and document outcomes.
