Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies seeks an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Support for NMRC Ft. Detrick projects. You will oversee submittals, schedules, deficiencies, and claims, ensuring compliance with contract specs and regulations.

This role is part of a larger envelope renew and repair project at Ft. Detrick. The ideal candidate has a four-year degree and 5–10 years of field construction experience, plus familiarity with USACE safety and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year Bachelor’s degree.
• Must demonstrate a minimum of five (10) years of relevant field experience in building construction/renovation/modernization.
• Familiarity with USACE Safety Management System (CE-SOHMS).
• Documentation of the required OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety training.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
• Certifications shall remain current throughout performance.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport for travel.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review submittals and provide recommendations to the COR concerning acceptability.
• Review contractor RFIs/RFCs and recommend responses and solutions to the COR.
• Review construction contractor schedules and report findings to the COR.
• Review construction contractor’s deficiencies and provide comments and actions to COR.
• Assess change orders/modifications and provide recommendations with documentation to COR.
• Assist in preparing documents during the sequence of events required for processing changes and claims.
