Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an experienced Federal Construction Project Manager to lead all phases of major government projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment. Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and manage all phases of Federal construction projects.
Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel for quality, safety, and compliance.
Liaise between Federal government client’s construction branch and project stakeholders.
Review construction documents to ensure FAR and code compliance.
Lead pre-construction and progress meetings and manage punch lists.
Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards across activities.
Track metrics and implement corrective actions for timely delivery.
Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in construction management.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation for submission to federal agencies.
Promote a culture of safety across sites per OSHA/USACE standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
