Job summary

Terra Constructs in the United States seeks a Federal Construction Project Manager to lead government projects from buyout through completion, coordinating clients, schedules, subcontractors, and contract administration.

The role requires strong CPM scheduling proficiency, documentation discipline, and the ability to manage risks and field teams while maintaining safety and compliance across project phases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience on government construction projects.
• 3-5 years of field construction as tradesperson/foreman or similar.
• Knowledge of federal construction practices, contract admin, safety.
• Experience creating CPM schedules with Primavera/SureTrak/MS Project.
• Ability to prepare subcontractor scopes and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage federal construction projects from buyout to delivery consistent with schedules, budgets, and standards.
• Serve as primary client liaison, maintaining relationships and coordinating communications.
• Lead buyout activities: scopes, subcontractor participation, and agreements.
• Coordinate superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain CPM schedules using accepted software.
• Prepare SOVs and track progress, costs, and performance.
• Manage submittals and RFIs with timely reviews and resolutions.
• Attend meetings to coordinate execution and address needs.
• Prepare detailed change orders and support negotiations.
• Maintain contract documentation and project records.
• Identify risks with field teams and ensure safe project delivery.
• Conduct site visits and monitor field conditions and quality.
