Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee large, complex projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and government regulations.

You will develop schedules with Microsoft Project, coordinate with contractors and government representatives, manage budgets, and lead teams across multiple projects. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of experience on large projects, and relevant certifications; travel to client sites will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of technical construction management experience on large projects.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or PE/NICET preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Port of Entry within client span.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor construction requirements, conduct site surveys, and ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
• Prepare, update, and manage construction schedules using Microsoft Project
• Maintain oversight of construction activities, reporting issues, observations, and blockers to Contractor and Government leadership
• Exercise technical judgment in addressing a wide range of construction-related problems and recommend effective solutions
• Coordinate and monitor project tasks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and government representatives.
