Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Federal Civilian Solutions Architect (SA) to act as the primary technical strategist and trusted advisor for Federal Civilian agencies, SI partners, and channel partners. You will map agency requirements to the Elastic Stack and lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle.

You will influence product direction, collaborate with Elastic teams, and represent Elastic at regional public sector events in the DMV area. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Technical Presales Consultant in enterprise software or federal high-tech space.
• Familiarity with federal mission areas and capability to support public sector customers.
• Proven track in leading technical evaluations and AOAs, articulating ROI of modernization.
• Ability to influence technical decision-makers and communicate with executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Mission Strategist for Federal Civilian accounts, guiding territory strategy from discovery to technical win.
• Architect value-driven solutions by understanding agency modernization goals and IT pain points.
• Build trust across customer leadership, from program managers to CIOs and CTOs.
• Lead demonstrations, POCs, and prototypes to validate Elastic capabilities across search, observability, and security.
