Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks a results-driven USA Capture Manager to lead federal capture efforts for our Technology Division. You will own the full capture lifecycle for CONUS opportunities involving drones/UAS/UUV, robotics, AI, additive manufacturing, and related offerings.

You will shape opportunities leveraging Planate’s capabilities and collaboration with AVTS Philippines, develop win strategies, and drive disciplined capture processes to convert pipeline into awards on DIU OTAs/CSOs,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technical, or related field required; advanced degree or PMP preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive federal business development or capture experience with DoD or federal technology pursuits.
Demonstrated success leading captures involving unmanned systems, robotics, AI, or additive manufacturing; mailroom robotics/industrial automation a plus.
Strong knowledge of federal procurement vehicles and processes (OTAs/CSOs incl. DIU, SeaPort-NxG, OASIS+, GSA MAS; SDVOSB set-asides).
Ability to develop capture strategies, conduct competitive analysis, and engage senior government stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication; experience with proposal development desirable.
Ability to manage multiple captures, work remotely, and collaborate across teams, including international partners.
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain preferred.
Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events.

Responsibilities

Lead the complete capture lifecycle from identification to proposal submission and award for Technology Division pursuits.
Develop and execute detailed capture plans with win themes, solution strategies, and price-to-win analysis.
Identify, qualify, and shape federal opportunities aligned with unmanned systems, robotics, AI, and additive manufacturing.
Build and maintain relationships with key DoD customers, program offices, contracting officers, and decision-makers.
Represent Planate at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to position capabilities.
Coordinate with technical SMEs, proposal teams, pricing, contracts, and partners to ensure compliant, differentiated solutions.
Support pipeline development, CRM maintenance, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
Identify teaming opportunities to strengthen competitive position on OTAs/IDIQs and set-asides.
Monitor market trends, acquisition strategies, and competitor activity in relevant tech areas.
Perform other duties to support growth objectives.
