Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of business development, capture or sales experience in federal contracting.
• Proven success identifying, capturing, and winning federal contracts as prime or subcontractor.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal procurement processes.
• Experience with major contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules).
• Established networks within federal agencies and the defense/intelligence communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD and capture activities across the federal lifecycle from opportunity ID to award.
• Develop and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline aligned with growth goals.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across civilian, defense, and intelligence communities.
• Develop and execute capture/win strategies to increase win probability.
• Build relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, and teaming organizations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
• Support proposal development with solution design, pricing, teaming, and positioning.
• Collaborate with leadership, operations, and proposals to craft customer-focused solutions.
• Monitor procurement forecasts and regulatory developments affecting growth strategy.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and CRM reporting.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
