Job summary

ANSER is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead the company's federal growth strategy, manage a team of business development professionals, and own a portfolio of strategic opportunities.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will lead opportunity identification, capture, proposal development, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships to achieve revenue growth objectives.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• 10+ years of federal government business development, capture management, account management, and growth leadership.
• Proven track record of developing and executing disciplined BD/growth strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Experience identifying, qualifying, capturing, and winning federal opportunities, including DoD customers.
• Forecasting qualified pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive win themes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Account Executives.
• Establish objectives, conduct pipeline reviews, and monitor KPIs.
• Develop and execute BD strategies aligned with corporate growth priorities.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of federal customers and territories.
• Develop account plans and customer engagement strategies aligned with missions and ANSER capabilities.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of federal opportunities and guide capture and proposal activities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth plans and revenue forecasts.
• Lead qualification, capture strategy, proposal development, and pursuit execution.
• Shape opportunities through customer engagement, RFIs, white papers, conferences, and related activities.
• Partner with capture, proposal, and technical teams to develop competitive solutions and win themes.
• Build relationships with government customers, contracting officials, industry partners, and teammates.
• Analyze market trends and procurement forecasts using federal market intelligence tools.
• Meet and exceed individual and team BD, revenue, and win-rate targets.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline supporting growth targets and accurate forecasting.
• Develop high-performing BD professionals through coaching and mentorship.
