Job summary

ANSER, a national security-focused consultancy, seeks a dynamic Federal Business Development Lead to build and close a portfolio of strategic opportunities in an assigned territory. You will report to the Director of Business Development and lead opportunity identification, capture, proposal development, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

You will own end-to-end BD lifecycle, forecast a healthy pipeline, and shape opportunities through customer engagement,

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required with ability TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in federal government business development, account management, and growth.
• Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process, including FAR-based procurements, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, OTAs, and task order competitions.
• Proven track record of developing and executing disciplined business development and growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Achieve qualified pipeline and revenue targets for territory. Own end-to-end business development lifecycle.
• Build a book of business in assigned territories through lead generation and pursuit, capture, and proposal development.
• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with corporate growth priorities and customer missions.
• Build, qualify, and manage a healthy pipeline of federal opportunities; forecast pipeline in CRM and lead discussions.
• Shape opportunities through customer engagement, RFIs, white papers, conferences, and other BD activities.
• Partner with capture, proposal, and technical teams on competitive solutions, pricing, and win themes.
• Build and maintain relationships with government customers, contracting officials, industry partners, and teammates.
• Analyze market trends and procurement forecasts using federal market intelligence tools.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and integrity.
