Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to spearhead strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors on federal design-build opportunities. You will identify high-priority pursuits, build executive relationships, and collaborate with client service leaders, legal and preconstruction teams to shape teaming strategies and improve win probability.

Bachelor's degree required.
15 years of related experience required.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Lead CDM Smith’s strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors for federal alternative delivery contracts.
Identify priority pursuits and build executive-level relationships to enable early teaming commitments.
Collaborate with CSLs, technical, preconstruction, legal and sales teams to develop teaming strategies and improve probability of award.
Manage the General Contractor relationship pipeline from target identification through teaming agreements and scopes of work.
Oversee pursuit teams in presenting engineering expertise and cost validation to proposals and procurements.
Lead negotiations for exclusive designer-of-record/engineering relationships and early-phase scopes.
Support large, complex programs and advise on design risk, constructability, and budget reconciliation during preconstruction.
