Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategic partnerships with General Contractors for progressive design-build and other federal delivery models. You will shape teaming strategies with CSLs and preconstruction teams to increase win probability and align contractor capabilities with procurement timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
15 years of related experience required.
Travel may be domestic and/or international; up to 40% travel.
Familiarity with FAR Part 36 and federal procurement mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors for federal alternative delivery.
Position CDM Smith as preferred design partner early in procurement cycles.
Collaborate with CSLs and preconstruction teams to develop teaming strategies.
Manage contractor relationships, teaming agreements, and scopes of work.
Track federal opportunity pipeline and drive commitments and transition to delivery teams.
Resolve operational friction between contractor and A-E team during design validation and cost reconciliation.
