Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a high‑level Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors on DB and PDB opportunities for U.S. Government programs.

You will shape teaming strategies, manage executive relationships, and guide pursuit teams from target identification through teaming agreements. Ideal candidates have deep federal architecture/engineering business development experience, knowledge of FAR Part 36, and a track record

Qualifications

15+ years of related experience in federal architecture, engineering, and construction business development or capture management.
Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience considered.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel percentage 20–40%.

Responsibilities

Lead CDM Smith’s strategy and partnerships with federal prime contractors for alternative delivery projects.
Identify priority pursuits, assess contractor capability, and build executive relationships for early teaming commitments.
Develop and execute teaming strategies with CSLs and cross-functional teams through award probability improvements.
Manage the GC relationship pipeline and support CSLs from target identification to teaming agreements.
