Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Business Development and Capture leader to guide strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery opportunities.

You will position CDM Smith as a preferred design partner, build executive-level relationships, and drive teaming agreements through the pursuit lifecycle, collaborating with CSLs and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of related federal architecture/engineering/construction business development experience.
• Willingness to travel 20%–40%.
• Experience with progressive design-build or design-build procurement a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM Smith’s federal alternative delivery pursuits and partnerships with GCs.
• Develop and present teaming strategies and exclusive subcontract concepts.
• Build executive relationships with prime contractors to foster early teaming commitments.
• Collaborate with CSLs, preconstruction, legal, and sales teams to pursue awards.
