You will work with Client Service Leaders and cross-functional teams to develop teaming strategies, negotiate early exclusive terms, and strengthen the pipeline for alternative delivery models such as PDB and DB2B. This role emphasizes senior relationship building and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of federal architecture/engineering business development or related experience.
• Travel may be required domestically and internationally depending on project needs.
• Experience with alternative delivery (PDB/DB) and large federal programs.
• Proven ability to establish executive relationships and secure teaming commitments with prime contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and partnerships with regional/national General Contractors for federal opportunities.
• Position CDM Smith as preferred designer-subcontractor early in procurement cycles.
• Collaborate with CSLs and pursuit teams to develop teaming strategies and scopes of work.
• Manage the GC relationship pipeline from target identification to teaming agreement execution.
• Coordinate with legal, preconstruction, and sales teams to maximize win probability.
