Job summary

NC State Extension in Onslow County seeks an Extension Agent, FCS (Assistant, Associate or Full Agent) to lead the Family and Consumer Sciences program.

You will conduct needs assessments, provide interactive learning, evaluate programs, and support nutrition/healthy lifestyles curricula while coordinating volunteers. Based with NC Cooperative Extension, you’ll help residents access research-based education and serve the community through NC State University partnerships.

• Lead development and implementation of the Family and Consumer Sciences program in Onslow County.
• Conduct needs assessments and deliver interactive learning opportunities.
• Provide program evaluations and coordinate volunteer management.
