Job summary

NC State Extension in Onslow County seeks an Extension Agent, FCS (Assistant, Associate or Full Agent) to lead the Family and Consumer Sciences program.

You will conduct needs assessments, provide interactive learning, evaluate programs, and support nutrition/healthy lifestyles curricula while coordinating volunteers. Based with NC Cooperative Extension, you’ll help residents access research-based education and serve the community through NC State University partnerships.

Position Information

Position Overview

The agent in this position will provide leadership for the development and implementation of the Family and Consumer Sciences ( FCS ) program in Onslow County. The agent will proactively conduct needs assessments, interactive learning opportunities, and program evaluations to provide future direction of the program. Programmatic support of current research-based nutrition/healthy lifestyles curriculum for all ages, along with volunteer management will be expected of the agent to meet program goals.
