Job summary

Sheltair Aviation seeks a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the FBO at a base location in Orlando, FL. You will manage customer relations, line operations, accounting, safety programs and P&L responsibility, while leading a team of supervisors and staff to deliver high-level aviation support services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business or Aviation Management and at least 3 years of aviation management experience, with strong leadership, negotiation, and customer-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Aviation Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related general aviation management experience.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurship, change leadership, negotiation and influence, and strong customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the FBO base including customer relations and line operations.
• Direct accounting, budgeting, forecast and expense management for the base location.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives for FBO and real-estate operations.
• Promote safety and product integrity through training and documented procedures.
• Manage staffing, performance, and development of supervisors and staff at the location.
• Maintain strong relations with airport authorities, local government, tenants, and customers.
• Prepare annual budgets and capital plans; monitor performance against plan.
