Job summary

Sheltair is seeking a Line Service Manager to direct day-to-day operations within our FBO. This leadership role requires supervising staff, implementing procedures, and maintaining safety standards to ensure premium customer service.

Strong aviation background and people management are essential. The ideal candidate will oversee scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and contractor coordination, while driving costs down and boosting service quality for tenants and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years aviation experience
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
• Safety & Training experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize daily operations of the department within the FBO
• Establish policies and procedures; oversee schedules and equipment needs
• Monitor finances, labor hours and inventory
• Manage personnel evaluations, discipline, and separations
• Implement procedures with contractors and airline customers
• Support contract negotiations with General Manager
• Maintain service, safety, and security standards
• Oversee hiring interviews and performance reviews for line service staff
• Lead training for line technicians, including ongoing training
• Coordinate scheduling and time-off requests for line service
• Facilitate monthly safety meetings and ensure policy adherence
• Oversee product integrity checks (daily, monthly, quarterly)
• Ensure maintenance and safety checks on all equipment
• Collaborate with Customer Service Manager for premium service
• Handle customer requests and ensure satisfaction
• Build relationships with customers and tenants
• Document communications and resolve issues early to prevent problems
• Report issues to management and work to reduce costs and overtime
• Aim to maximize sales while meeting performance targets
