Job summary

National Business Aviation Association seeks an experienced FBO Manager to plan, organize, and direct all fixed base operation activities. You will be accountable for line service, fueling, ramp and hangar management, staff supervision, safety, and financial performance.

The role requires adherence to TSA security, regulatory standards, and exceptional customer relations with GA customers, tenants, and airline partners. A strong background in budgeting and fuel operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience managing or supervising a fixed base operation, including direct supervision of line service personnel.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated experience with aircraft fueling operations, fuel quality control, and fuel farm management.
• Direct experience with commercial into-plane fueling for scheduled air carriers, or comparable experience in a high-tempo fueling operation with contractual turn-time obligations.
• Demonstrated experience with budget preparation and financial accountability for an operating unit.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a TSA fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment and to obtain and maintain airport identification media.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and to participate in the Authority's drug and alcohol testing program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct all activities of the Authority's fixed base operation. Maintain full operational accountability for line and customer service, fueling, ramp and hangar management, and financial performance.
• Serve as the Authority's principal point of contact for general aviation customers, tenants, airline station managers, and fuel suppliers.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, oversee staff supervision, and drive efficient, high-quality service across all FBO operations.
