Job summary

Lidl US is seeking a Store Manager for our Maryland-area locations. You will lead a team of 15–60 employees, drive store performance, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

You will own operational excellence, staffing, training, and adherence to policies in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be responsible for delivering strong customer service, managing day-to-day tasks, and developing your team to meet store targets while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of management experience OR 3-5 years of management experience with demonstrated leadership
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent managerial experience
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong customer service mindset with de-escalation skills
• Willingness to assist in physical store operations and routine duties

Responsibilities

• Manage store performance and team well-being for 15–60 employees depending on store volume
• Provide excellent customer service and be the primary contact for customer needs
• Monitor and drive improvements in store KPIs
• Recruit, train, and develop team members
• Support operational tasks including cash handling, stocking, cleaning, and other duties
• Maintain a safe, positive, and compliant working environment
