Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is seeking a Manager Trainee in Cincinnati to drive location performance and develop leadership skills. The role offers a clear path to Branch Manager within 12–18 months, with a starting wage of $37,440 per year ($18 per hour).

You’ll gain hands-on experience in sales, fleet management, operations, finance, and leadership while supporting daily operations and customer service excellence. This program emphasizes growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Presentable attire.
• Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Support team with miscellaneous tasks including cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations and leadership development.
