Job summary

Ryder in Warren, OH is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Associate to join the GM team at the Warren facility. The role focuses on ensuring on-time delivery, supplier coordination, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include managing part shipments, containment planning, and collaboration across suppliers to maintain production flow. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 1 year or more administrative experience is preferred.
• 1 year or more relevant experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of MGO Intermediate is preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation management Intermediate is preferred.
• Knowledge of material flow in manufacturing Intermediate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up purchased parts to ensure on-time delivery for production.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers and set ship schedules.
• Develop containment plans to prevent production interruptions.
• Coordinate alternative material sources and spot buys if needed.
• Manage truck loads and ensure cost-efficient material coverage.
• Review buffers and maintain inventory accuracy in MGO.
