Responsibilities include contacting suppliers, managing ship schedules, monitoring parts availability, and driving containment actions to prevent production interruptions. Full-time, on-site position with a steady daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years administrative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GM's MGO system (intermediate).
• Knowledge of transportation management (intermediate).
• Knowledge of material flow in manufacturing (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Follow up purchased parts to ensure on-time delivery.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers and manage ship schedules.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans.
• Coordinate alternative sources and spot buys as needed.
• Monitor inventory in MGO and adjust records as needed.
• Review part buffers to cover build requirements.
• Determine root causes and take corrective actions.
