Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of administrative experience preferred; more is a plus.
• Five years or more of relevant supply chain experience strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Follow up purchased parts to ensure on-time delivery for production.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers and manage ship schedules.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate alternative material sources and spot buys when needed.
• Monitor and adjust inventory in system to reflect accurate levels.
• Review buffers to ensure coverage for build requirements in Metal Centers/Powertrain.
