Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand for long period of time, lift 25 lbs, and bend or work in confined spaces.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with good judgment and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Plate and prepare several orders based on customer specifications, working on several different orders simultaneously.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Quality check ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
• Operate in large-volume while ensuring speed of service and top quality food service.
• Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
• Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
• Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
