Responsibilities

• Sets up the batter table, collects needed smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Checks equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Color balances fryers and maintains proper shortening levels.
• Filters and cleans fryers following safety guidelines and equipment.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepares and cooks all food as dictated by business needs and Manager directions.
• Ensures all food meets specifications and holding times per SOM.
• Maintains a clean work area with clean-as-you-go practices.
• Verifies supplies are stocked at the batter area.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the cooler.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Manager in Charge of Shift.
