Job summary

Nordstrom in Columbia, MD seeks an Assistant Service Experience Manager to lead customer-focused initiatives and coach a team of specialists in adopting new service behaviors. You will partner with merchandising and store teams to promote customer-driven initiatives and drive results.

In this role, you’ll help manage processes, assist with budgets, protect customer privacy, and execute service, cash room and communication procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Track record of successful results and goal achievement.
• Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with multiple operating systems: Windows, iOS, Android.

Responsibilities

• Own disciplines and processes, using technology and innovation to enhance the customer experience.
• Coach a team of specialists to educate and adopt new behaviors and processes through influence.
• Build relationships with merchandising and store teams to lead changes that support customer initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting and financial aspects to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Help protect the security and privacy of customer information including education and compliance.
• Perform Service Experience, Cash Room and Communications procedures as applicable.
