Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage hourly associates and lead teams across store operations in the United States. You will hire, train, mentor, and recognize associates, promote a culture of belonging, and ensure exceptional customer service aligned with OBW standards.

The role includes supervising daily tasks, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving financial performance through budgeting, merchandising, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position may require a firearms-specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; communicating store objectives.
• Drives store performance by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Promotes a culture of belonging and open communication; ensures customer service standards are met.
