H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to care for live cattle in Kansas. Responsibilities include feeding, watering, herding, loading animals, maintaining records, and assisting with births. English language ability is required, and workers must be able to lift up to 85 lbs. CDL may be required for trucking tasks.

Employer-provided housing and meals are included, with additional transportation to stores as needed. A random drug test may be administered after hire.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.
• Must be able to obtain CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks.
• Be able to lift up to 85 lbs.
• Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker.

Responsabilités

• Feed, water, herd, graze, castrate, brand, catch, and load animals.
• Maintain records on animals and assist in birth deliveries.
• Repair or build fences and move livestock between locations.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate.
• Provide mineral to cattle and ensure housing areas are clean and safe.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Repair or build fences as needed to contain livestock; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Provide mineral to cattle; Must speak English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 3 months

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 85 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
