H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to attend to live farm and ranch animals, including cattle. Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals, plus maintaining animal records and assisting with births and medical tasks. A housing option is provided by the employer, with meals available on-site.

English proficiency is required. Experience required is 3 months, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Load and run feed truck to feed livestock; Inspect, service, and repair feeding systems as needed; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Provide mineral to cattle; Build, repair and maintain fence lines; Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 3 months

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
